Position Overview
Teaching and Learning Specialist for Early Childhood - Bilingual (Part time, 0.6 FTE).
Program/Department:
Professional Development Services.
Location:
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES.
Position length: 123 days annually. Salary range: TBD. Anticipated start date:
July 1, 2026. Closing date:
May 29, 2026.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
- BA/MA preferred; associate degree with CT OEC TA Provider Approval considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in early childhood education.
- Experience supporting teachers through training, coaching and/or technical assistance.
- CT OEC Registry Number required.
- Provide technical assistance, coaching and professional development services in a variety of early childhood settings.
- Support best practices and current research/trends in early childhood education.
- Work collaboratively as a team-oriented educator ensuring strong communication skills.
