English Teacher - High School - Anticipated
Mt. Lebanon High School, school year, full‑time as a contract (permanent) position effective August 7, 2026.
The Mt. Lebanon School District seeks an English Teacher to teach Grades 9–12. Responsibilities include designing curriculum, delivering instruction, assessing student performance, and contributing to the academic program.
Qualifications:
- Active Instructional Certificate in English 7-12 from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- Applicants with pending certifications may be considered with a placeholder letter from an accredited teacher preparation program and evidence of passing certification examinations.
Salary:
Entry onto the salary schedule is capped at Step 4 for individuals with prior K‑12 teaching experience.
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
- Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting (Act 126)
- Arrest or Conviction Form PDE 6004 (Act 24)
- School Personnel Health Record & TB Test
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
