Summer Camp Creators & Instructors - Kids On Campus

Kids on Campus at Bucks County Community College is seeking inventive, energetic Camp Instructors for the 2026 summer season.

• Camp sessions:
  June 15–August 7,2026
• Instructor hours:
  Monday 8:00am–3:45pm;
  Tuesday–Friday 8:30am–3:30pm (includes paid lunch)
• Camp duration: one full week per age group (5‑6,7‑9,10‑12,13‑15)

• Design, propose, and lead an original week‑long camp program aligned with student interests and age‑appropriate curriculum.
• Manage classroom environment, facilitate activities, and resolve conflicts among campers.
• Oversee lunchtime duties and serve lunch to campers.
• Develop and assess camp materials, activities, and safety protocols.
• Maintain communication with Camp Staff, parents, and the Director throughout the schedule.
• Participate in required interviews and complete all HR paperwork after proposal approval.

• Age 21or older.
• Experience working with children and proven classroom management skills.
• Strong conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent communication with staff, campers, and parents.
• Ability to design and implement age‑appropriate curriculum for a full week.
• Preferred:
  Degree in education or advanced expertise in the camp subject area.
• Must complete background check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprint, and Mandated Reporter Training before the first day.
• Submit all required health history and HR documentation prior to the first day of work.

Hourly rate: $30.00.

• Submit resume and cover letter.
• Complete the course proposal form for the camp you wish to instruct.
• After proposal approval, attend an interview and finish HR paperwork.
