Tennis & Tie-Dye Camp Instructor
We’re looking for a fun, energetic instructor to serve as a substitute instructor to lead our Tennis & Tie-Dye Camp this summer. The role involves guiding campers through two separate weeks of active play and creative activities, helping them improve their tennis skills in the mornings and explore colorful tie-dye and arts & crafts projects in the afternoons.
Camp Dates- Session 1:
July 6–10 - Session 2:
August 3–7
- Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
- Tuesday–Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (includes paid lunch)
10–12 years old.
Responsibilities- Lead daily tennis instruction and tie-dye arts & crafts sessions.
- Supervise campers and maintain a safe, engaging environment.
- Prepare lesson plans and adapt activities for age‑appropriate engagement.
- Oversee lunch duties and be present during lunch hours.
- Communicate with camp staff and parents regarding camper development.
- At least 21 years old.
- Experience working with children.
- Playing tennis and/or teaching tennis experience.
- Classroom management and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication with staff and parents.
- Ability to design and implement age‑appropriate curriculum and camp activities.
- Preferred educational degree or subject expertise related to the camp.
- Must obtain background check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprint, and Mandated Reporter Training prior to the first day of work.
- Must submit all appropriate forms, including a health history record, to Human Resources before the first day of work.
Hourly rate: $30.00
