Full-Time Special Term Contract Instructor – Biology
Bucks County Community College invites applications for a Special Term Contract, Full‑Time Instructor position in Biology for the 2026–2027 academic year. The role will primarily focus on teaching Biotechnology courses. Additional courses may include Anatomy and Physiology, and General Biology for majors and non‑majors.
Responsibilities- Teach first‑ and second‑year Biotechnology courses across in‑person, online, and hybrid modalities.
- Advise Biotechnology students and assist them in identifying internship opportunities.
- Teach other Biology courses as needed by the department.
- Assist in reviewing the Biotechnology curriculum and updating experimental procedures for Biotechnology labs.
- Minimum:
Masters in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a closely related field with 18 graduate credit hours in Biological sciences or Biotechnology. - Preferred:
- PhD in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or related field.
- 2 or more years of Biotechnology industry experience.
- 2 or more years of community college teaching experience.
