Seeking Instructional Assistants, working in Neshamiy Public School District.

Interviewing for fall 2026, position starts 08/03/2026.

Starting at $21/hour up to $24.50/hour pending higher education and experience in the field or RBT certification.

• Support and maintain classroom policies and procedures, while assisting students by modeling appropriate behavior, providing emotional support, and adopting a patient and friendly attitude.
• Assist in the implementation of students’ individualized education program (IEP) and positive behavior support plan (PBSP) as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with student personal needs, when required, including medical needs in conjunction with the school-based health or nursing staff.
• Participate in meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Understand team goals and own role within the team. Support team decisions and cooperate with others within and outside the team.
• Utilize crisis physical intervention techniques under the direction of the teacher and as appropriate to the setting and the degree of threat to the safety of the student and others.

M-F: 8-4pm. This position is aligned with the school calendar and is a full-time role covering a 10-month period and opportunities for extended school year program in summer break.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Associate's degree required.
• At least one year of experience in an educational setting working required. Experience with individuals with autism and/or other special education populations preferred.
