Preferably, all substitute teachers should be certified to teach through the State of Pennsylvania. However, applicants with a bachelor's degree and no PA certification will be considered for substitute teaching. Applicants must meet all state and federal qualifications. An Act 34 Criminal History Clearance Report, an Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance Report, and an FBI Fingerprint Report are required as well as other required documents.
Professional Substitute Daily Rate: $150.00 per full day.
