Job Title: Aide
Job Status: Permanent/Part Time
Job Summary: Our Lady of Angels Regional School is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled individual to serve as a Part‑Time Pre‑K 4 Aide. The aide will assist the classroom teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pre‑K 4 teacher with daily classroom activities and instruction.
- Support students during learning centers, small‑group activities, and classroom transitions.
- Help maintain a positive, orderly, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and other designated times as needed.
- Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and clean‑up.
- Foster positive relationships with students while modeling Christian values and respectful behavior.
- Support the school's Catholic mission and participate in school activities as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate degree or college coursework in education preferred.
- Experience working with young children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families.
- Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for working with preschool‑aged children.
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
- All required clearances and background checks must be obtained prior to employment.
