New Hope‑Solebury School District is seeking an applicant for Instructional Assistant to provide support for students with IEPs at the Upper Elementary School.

• Participate in daily and long‑range planning and communication with teachers.
• Provide support to student instructionally and behaviorally in a small group or individually.
• Administer assessments and collect data when needed.
• Supervise students as necessary.
• Work with assigned student to supervise during lunch and other non‑instructional time.
• Maintain individual and collective record‑keeping for assigned student.
• Provide necessary supports, adaptations, and modifications for students with disabilities as assigned: toileting, assistance with student's menses care, personal grooming, daily self‑help tasks, transfers to and from wheelchairs, support for participation in general and special education classrooms.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Proven experience working with secondary‑level students (essential).
• Ability to work effectively and empathetically with students across various developmental stages (K‑12).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional confidentiality.
• Physical ability to assist with student mobility and personal care tasks as outlined in student IEPs.

• Current and valid Pennsylvania state‑mandated clearances (Act 34, Act 151, Act 114) and all required District certifications.

Full‑Time

USD 22.03 per hour

• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
