Qualifications- Valid PA Certification in School Counseling K-12 required
- Knowledge of Act 339 planning and implementation and Act 158 graduation requirements required
- Experience with secondary school population preferred
- Experience working in a residential facility for youth and young adults preferred
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
- Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by MCIU upon hire)
- Provide guidance and counseling services to students, specifically in the areas of career readiness and developing workforce readiness skills.
- Program includes personal, academic, career development, counseling and consultation services to students, teachers, and school administration.
- Provide individual and group sessions with a focus on career readiness, workforce development skills, consultation services, and training.
- Prepare comprehensive education plans for individual students based on transcripts and desired goals and outcomes of student.
- Monitor educational plans for students and provide support and guidance as needed to assist students to meet their goals and desired outcomes.

Work ScheduleMonday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)
Salary- Bachelor's, Step 1: $53,997/year
- Master's, Step 1: $65,007/year
* Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master’s Degree.
