Instructional Support Specialist

Hourly Rate: $21.00

Hours: Part Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday – follows the TCV Day Academy School Calendar

Location: Day Academy, Homestead, PA

The Instructional Support Specialist will work under the teacher’s direction to assist with academic, social, and behavioral needs of assigned clients. Duties include implementation of basic educational programming, providing individual tutoring or one-on-one support, and performing tasks directed by the building administrator or classroom teacher.

• Associate degree in a related discipline from an accredited school/college.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students having severe or complex behavioral/emotional issues.
• Valid PA Driver’s License preferred.
• State criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearances required.
• Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, with a strong passion for working with children with special needs.
