Location: Day Academy, Homestead, PA
As an Instructional Support Specialist at Devereux/TCV, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Devereux/TCV Community Services in Homestead, PA provides programs and services for children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and dual diagnoses. This position will support the teacher’s direction by providing assistance with academic, social, and behavioral needs of assigned clients.
You will assist in the implementation of a basic educational program and perform duties as directed by the building administrator or classroom teacher, including individual tutoring or one‑on‑one support for a student with special needs.

Assist in implementing basic educational programming and provide individual tutoring or one‑on‑one support.
Qualifications- Associate degree in a related discipline from an accredited school or college.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students who have severe or complex behavioral or emotional issues.
- A valid PA driver’s license is preferred.
- State criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearances are required.
- Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and possess a sense of humor.
- Strong passion for working with and helping children with special needs.
- Experience working in a classroom with low student‑to‑staff ratios.
