Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to join our Havertown team. In this role, you will lead a preschool classroom (age
3), creating a structured, engaging environment that supports school readiness and encourages children to learn through play and exploration.

In this role, you will lead the day-to-day classroom activities, using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD to guide instruction and support each child’s development.

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
• Lead daily classroom activities, including small group lessons and individualized support.
• Provide active supervision at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
• Observe and assess children’s progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
• Create and maintain an engaging classroom environment that supports hands‑on learning.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the Wonderspring team.
• Support and guide assistant teachers to keep the classroom running smoothly.

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in a preschool setting.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and be flexible as needed.
• Comfortable leading a classroom and supporting other teachers.
• Maintain professional and manage confidential information with care.
• Basic understanding of Department of Human Services (DHS) licensing requirements.
• Must meet all required clearances and health checks.
