What You’ll Do
  • Assist with specific activities, routines and/or games for all participants
  • Adapt and modify to meet participant needs
  • Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program
  • Manage all equipment to ensure safety
  • Maintain a clean and risk‑free environment
  • Ensure all children are picked up by a parent
  • Promote other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referring to the appropriate person
  • Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with special needs
  • Prior knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in program area
  • Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
  • Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
