The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of oculoplastics. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching residents, medical students, and fellows at the Scheie Eye Institute. Mentorship of early career faculty is expected.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing medical and surgical oculoplastics care at the Scheie Eye Institute and one of Scheie''s satellite offices. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborative or independent research within the specific area of oculoplastics. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of scholarship.
