Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel in Elkins Park PA, is seeking a 6th Grade teacher and substitute teachers for our Religious School:
6th Grade Religious School TeacherLocation:
Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, 8339 Old York Rd, Elkins Park, PA 19027
Schedule:Sundays, 9:15am-12pm, September through May
Responsibilities:- Lead classroom learning based on Jewish values, Holidays, Torah stories, Israel and community building using our religious school curriculum
- Supported by a classroom aide/madrichim
- Communicate regularly with parents and the Education Director
- Passion for creating fun and engaging learning experiences
- Interested in exploring creative and non-traditional approaches to education
- Collaborative team players who enjoy working with other educators
- Able to connect with learners across different developmental stages and learning styles
- Committed to inclusion and celebrating the diversity of our community
- Basic Judaic and Hebrew knowledge
- Background check required
Salary Commensurate with experience.
