OverviewThe Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year full-time program that supports the development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris. A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris’ culture and industrial heritage, preparing them for the next steps in their career.
PurposeIdentifies and implements the best operation practices by promoting technological update, collaborating in compliance with production programs, optimizing processes and suppliers' costs, complying with defined quality standards, and working within a safe work environment.
ScopeSteel Shop
Main Responsibilities- Provide quality assurance for end products by analyzing performance of the manufacturing process and designing or improving manufacturing practices.
- Comply with established quality standards by designing a stable and defect‑free process and tracking quality procedures from generation to implementation.
- Provide process optimization using technological information and reports from competitors, benchmarking activities, 00100 and R&D areas, and coordinate technological R&D activities in the area.
- Provide technical support ensuring the provision of technical service on initiatives of new projects related to the line/process.
- Ensure satisfaction of internal clients and external customers by monitoring product quality results and analyzing/implementing action plans as required.
- Collaborate in the fulfilment of cost objectives by optimising the use of the most relevant supplies.
- Collaborate in the compliance with line manufacturing programs, verifying that the performance of machinery and instruments used in the production process respond to established use and efficiency criteria.
- Take into account energy saving issues when developing phases and process.
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Protect facilities, equipment and other physical resources from damage, theft or misuse.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
- Less than 3 years of full‑time experience post‑degree completion.
