Job Title: Element Staffing Mechanical Engineer - Associate Manager
Job Description: Element Staffing is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer - Associate Manager for a water treatment technology company located in the NE United States. The Mechanical Engineer - Associate Manager is responsible for leading the full engineering lifecycle, working on system level solutions and supporting manufacturing, projects and commercial activities.. This role requires a strong analytical approach and the ability to evaluate technical alternatives, risks and impacts, ensuring robust, compliant and cost effective solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities/
Qualifications:
- Design and development of mechanical products and systems, including complex and integrated technical solutions
- Prepare, review and approval of drawings, models, sketches, equipment lists and Bills of Material
- Define, develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, standard operating practices and technical documentation
- Develop and apply engineering standards, procedures and design methodologies
- Provide technical support and guidance to Designers, engineers and Project Managers
- Participate in technical discussions and reviews with external customers
- Provide technical support to sales team during proposal phases, including evaluation of technical solutions and cost estimates
- Identify and apply new engineering methods and approaches to improve quality, efficiency and cost performance.
- Plan, manage and self monitor daily engineering activities with a high level of autonomy,
- Deliver engineering solutions in line with project schedules, cost targets and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and applicable health and safety procedures
- Monitor and control engineering costs, timelines and technical risks
- Provide engineering judgment and problem solving support on complex technical issues,
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools and ways of working,
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Project Managers, Operations and Manufacturing teams
- Communicate technical concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Education: BS/MS Mechanical engineering, instrumentation or related technical field
