Regional Environmental Compliance Manager | Hyperscale Data Centers | AI Infrastructure

Regional HSE opportunity with a fast-scaling business building the compute, data centers, and power infrastructure behind artificial superintelligence.

This is a high ownership role across a multi-state portfolio of active construction and commissioning sites including Indiana, New York and Texas

Role Overview

Regional ownership of all EHS and environmental compliance activities across active sites acting as the in-house subject matter expert and primary contractor interface.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and continuously improve regional Environmental compliance, permitting, EHS programs, standards, and procedures
  • Lead environmental compliance programs including air, emissions, SWPPP, SPCC, and waste management
  • Manage full lifecycle environmental permitting from pre-construction through compliance and renewals
  • Act as primary EHS interface for general contractors and subcontractors across all sites
  • Review and approve safety plans, JHAs, and emergency response procedures prior to mobilization
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and performance reviews across construction and commissioning phases
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis with corrective actions
What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years in EHS, environmental compliance, or consulting
  • Strong EPA regulatory and multi-state permitting experience
  • Hands-on experience with air permitting, SWPPP, SPCC, emissions, and reporting
  • Experience working across multiple sites or jurisdictions
  • Environmental consulting background strongly preferred
  • Infrastructure, construction, or energy project experience highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50 percent to active project sites
