Position Title
Mechatronics Engineer
SummaryVictaulic is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support the development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and tooling. This is a hands‑on opportunity to work across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems while helping drive reliability, safety, and efficiency in a global manufacturing environment. - Support development and sustaining engineering of automated manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC programs, control systems, and HMI interfaces.
- Design and support tooling, test equipment, and production fixtures.
- Manage vendor‑supplied automation equipment including specification, procurement, and qualification.
- Maintain electrical and mechanical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and revisions.
- Support manufacturing operations with troubleshooting, process improvements, and equipment uptime.
- Ensure compliance with global safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with testing and certification bodies for product and equipment approvals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Experience with automated machinery, industrial controls, or manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panel design.
- Familiarity with PLC programming, HMI systems, and automation troubleshooting.
- Understanding of global machinery safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Experience with CAD tools (Solid Works preferred).
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Approximately 10% domestic and international travel required.
- Ability to lift within nationally approved EHS limits.
- Ability to work in manufacturing and industrial environments.
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
