We’re partnering with a growing, employee-owned engineering consulting firm to hire a Civil Engineer III focused on land development. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of technical design work

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead technical design for land development projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, construction drawings, and permit packages
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate technical recommendations
  • Support project execution, including scope, scheduling, and coordination
  • Maintain quality control by reviewing deliverables for accuracy and completeness
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and related design tools
  • Strong knowledge of land development regulations and permitting
  • Experience with grading, utilities, and construction documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills in a team and client‑facing environment
  • Mentoring experience and project management exposure are a plus
