Automation Engineer (Night Shift)
$85,000 - $90,000 + 10% Quarterly Bonus + Relocation Support + Training + Career Advancement + Medical, Dental, Vision + PTO + 401(k)
Scranton, PA (Commutable from: Pittston, Kingston, Wilkes-Barre, Clarks Summit, Carbondale, Honesdale)
Relocation Support Provided Are you an Automation, Controls or PLC Engineer looking to join a highly automated manufacturing facility offering long-term stability, technical development, and career advancement?
This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced production equipment, supporting automation systems across a large-scale manufacturing operation while receiving training on company-specific systems and processes.
The company is a global manufacturer with continued investment in automation, technology, and employee development. They offer long-term stability, technical training, and progression into more senior engineering and leadership roles over time. Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking to add an Automation Engineer to their team.
This position would suit someone with PLC programming experience who enjoys a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you can significantly progress your career.
The Role:
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled automation systems (Allen Bradley)
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform troubleshooting across production lines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
- Work closely with maintenance and electrical teams
- 2-2-3 night shift schedule (7pm-7am)
- PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Background in automation, controls, electrical engineering or industrial maintenance
- Experience with in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working a night shift schedule
