We are building a diverse team that creates novel solutions and provides previously unrealized services via robotics.
PositionAsylon is looking for an electrical engineer with RF and EMI expertise to design, test, and maintain the electrical and RF systems that connect our robotic products and their stations. You’ll work on architecting, analyzing, and optimizing wireless communication systems, designing circuit boards and wire harnesses, and ensuring hardware meets commercial and military standards.
Due to the nature of some projects, applicants must be U.S. citizens.
Primary Duties- Architecting, analyzing, and optimizing wireless communication systems for the Asylon robots.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems and electronics on the Drone Core products, including circuit boards and wire harnesses.
- Ensure the Asylon robots can withstand electromagnetic interference in challenging environments.
- Improve existing systems to meet customer requirements.
- Establish manufacturing and QA methods for PCBs, wire harnesses, and other electrical components to meet industry standards.
- Incorporate DFM and other manufacturing considerations on the way to high‑quality mass production.
- Create and carry out a validation plan for the system electronics.
- Solve related reliability, yield, and performance issues through development and into production.
- Conduct RF testing and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and performance of communications and sensor systems.
- Stay current with emerging RF and electronics technologies and industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years professional experience.
- Proficiency with RF measurement equipment such as network analyzers, signal analyzers, and near‑field scanners.
- Electrical design: schematic capture, board layout, preferably with Altium.
- Experience prototyping and fabricating new products.
- Circuit simulation.
- Reading and interpreting schematics and electrical diagrams.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
- Passion for robotics.
- Analog design.
- PCB fabrication, testing and debugging.

- Programming languages for electronics design and testing (Python, MATLAB, C++).
