Position: Hydrogeologist (PA) Full-Time

Warrington, PA Position Type: Full-Time Requirements:

  • Licensed Professional Geologist in PA.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental/hydrogeologic investigation and remediation.
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited College or University in hydrogeology, geology, or engineering.
  • Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training a plus.
  • Experience with proposal preparation, research, writing, and acquisition of grants is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PA DEP reporting and permitting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with groundwater modeling software (AQTESOLV or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to direct and supervise.
  • Professional Society Membership is a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Manages environmental/geology/hydrogeology services.
  • Performs evaluations of site conditions for conformance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Performs field investigations to determine the extent of surface and groundwater contamination; coordinates the collection of hydrogeologic data.
  • Prepares and reviews geological reports containing drilling logs and descriptions of geological formations and groundwater occurrence, quality, and gradient; and prepares hydrogeologic calculations, investigations, and studies.
  • Reviews and evaluates laboratory analytical data for soil and water samples.
  • Serves as the chief resident Hydrogeologist for specific projects; defines study parameters and directs the preparation of reports and studies.
  • Field and office QA/QC review.
  • Internal and external client/contractor communications.
  • Managing and mentoring of staff-level and project-level geologists and engineers.
  • Construction and remediation project administration.
  • Assist with business development.
