** THE JOB
** The Pavilion at Star Lake is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager – Venue Security to oversee all security operations to ensure safety and security of guests, employees, artists, and property, while maintaining a customer-focused approach. This role requires excellent people skills, a proactive mindset, and a thorough understanding and adherence to security protocols and licensing requirements as set forth by Live Nation and the State of Pennsylvania.
** WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO*
* · Policy Compliance:
Collaborate with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure adherence to all security policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
· Access Control:
Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to prevent theft and maintain venue security.
· Venue Surveillance:
Regularly patrol all areas of the venue to observe, report, and address any irregularities or potential security concerns.
· Incident Management:
Investigate and resolve security-related complaints, interacting positively with guests to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
· Reporting:
Document daily activities and incidents, including equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
· Staff Management:
Recruit, train, supervise, and discipline security personnel to ensure efficient department operations.
· Budget & Cost Control:
Manage security-related expenses by adhering to the department budget, optimizing resources, and ensuring staffing levels align with operational needs while controlling overtime and unnecessary costs.
