entertainment supervisor
we are seeking an entertainment supervisor who will be responsible for providing exemplary service and ensuring entertainment standards are met, including resolving guest concerns, investigating, and providing recommendations to correct recurring guest issues, ensuring all team members provide the highest level of guest courtesy, and recognizing and rewarding team members who provide exemplary service.

- monitor administrative responsibilities such as punch lists, rehearsal schedules, production archives, and production calendars & timelines.
- assist with department auditions & casting.
- teach all movement elements of a show, including new choreography as needed.
- train, evaluate, coach, and develop the performance of the cast and crew in the assigned venue or area.
- administer feedback sessions and evaluations in a timely manner.
- monitor team member hours and show schedule, handle documentation, and update and maintain team member files.
- respond to email in a timely manner and assist guests when necessary.
- provide show direction for all costumed character shows and other show product as assigned.
- assist entertainment leaders in all supervisory capacities.
- oversee the performance and productivity of all location team members and assistant supervisors.
- resolve all guest service matters for the department in a professional and timely manner.
- supervise team members and assistant supervisors while enforcing and complying with safety procedures and guidelines.
- train and counsel team members and assistant supervisors while ensuring compliance with grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- complete appropriate paperwork and administer discipline in a timely manner.
- ensure compliance with child labor laws regarding breaks, lunches, and hours worked per day.
- establish and maintain a positive atmosphere that ensures the highest level of team member engagement and exemplary guest service.
- consistently practice safe work habits, including the use of ppe for lifting and reporting unsafe situations.
- a passion for customer service.
- excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
- outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
- active listening with the ability to anticipate guests' needs.
- ability to work in a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment.
- minimum of three (3) months experience in a leadership position or equivalent external experience.
- no significant performance deficiencies within a one-year period.
- high school diploma preferred.
- general knowledge of theatrical operations required.
- valid driver's license to operate parade floats required.
- availability that meets the business needs of the position.
- high level of guest hospitality skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task.
- high level of verbal and written communication skills.
- ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements within established timelines.
- willingness to comply with all sea grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and adherence to the holiday and availability agreement.
- ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
