Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Associate.

Senior Tax Associate

Location: Chester County, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Mid–Senior Level (5–7 years)

About the Role

Our client, a growing professional services organization, is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its tax team. This role supports high-net-worth individuals and complex entities with tax compliance, planning, and advisory services. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong client exposure and career growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws
  • Respond to notices and correspondence from tax authorities
  • Prepare tax projections and assist with quarterly tax planning
  • Identify tax savings opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly
  • Support tax examinations, research, and special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Required Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of tax compliance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines independently
  • Strong and polished written and verbal communication skills (internal and client-side)
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software (ex: CCH Axcess, Ultra Tax CS, Intuit, etc)
  • Strong technology skills and adaptability to new tools
