Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Associate.

Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Mid–Senior Level (5–7 years)
About the RoleOur client, a growing professional services organization, is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its tax team. This role supports high-net-worth individuals and complex entities with tax compliance, planning, and advisory services. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong client exposure and career growth potential.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws
- Respond to notices and correspondence from tax authorities
- Prepare tax projections and assist with quarterly tax planning
- Identify tax savings opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly
- Support tax examinations, research, and special projects as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- 5–7 years of tax compliance experience
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines independently
- Strong and polished written and verbal communication skills (internal and client-side)
- Proficiency with tax preparation software (ex: CCH Axcess, Ultra Tax CS, Intuit, etc)
- Strong technology skills and adaptability to new tools
