Job Overview – Senior Manager (Tax Accounting)
Compensation: $175,000 – $195,000/year + bonus
Location: Chester County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Manager (Tax Accounting) in Chester County, PA for our client, supporting tax provision, financial reporting, and global tax accounting within a multinational environment. In this role, you will lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes, ensure ASC 740 compliance, and support complex transactions including M&A and restructuring activities. You will leverage systems such as One Source, SAP, and Excel to manage tax reporting, enhance processes, and drive efficiency across tax operations.
Responsibilitiesas the Senior Manager (Tax Accounting)
- Tax Provision & Financial Reporting: Lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes in compliance with ASC 740 while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Global Tax Accounting: Review and prepare technical tax analyses including valuation allowances, unremitted earnings, and uncertain tax positions.
- SEC Reporting Support: Prepare and review income tax disclosures and supporting schedules for SEC financial statements.
- Transaction Support: Provide tax accounting support for M&A, restructurings, and other strategic initiatives.
- Provision-to-Return & Global Coordination: Oversee provision-to-return adjustments and partner with domestic and international tax teams to ensure consistency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and a Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of tax experience required, with a strong preference for public accounting and multinational corporate tax experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASC 740, including domestic and international tax provisions, interim reporting, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions is required.
- Technical
Skills:
Experience with One Source Tax Provision, SAP, BPC, and advanced Excel is strongly preferred, and exposure to Alteryx or Power BI is a plus. - Certification: CPA preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, and communication skills with the ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
