Grant Services Supervisor
The Grant Services Supervisor leads the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in enterprise-wide grant activities, provides guidance in grant development to administrators, identifies grant opportunities that benefit the MCIU and its programs, and works closely with staff and partners to develop applications, monitor data, and prepare reports. The role aims to increase competitive grant writing and support large grant management.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field;
Master’s degree and/or Grants Professionals Certification preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of grant writing experience.
- Knowledge of grant/project/contract administration, management, and reporting.
- Knowledge of grant budgeting practices and ability to collect, organize, and interpret budget information, provide projections, and prepare accurate reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to supervise and work effectively with staff across all levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute multiple complex grants in a timely manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators and staff.
- Original certificates of clearance from the State Police, Child Abuse Registry, and PDE FBI.
- Provide leadership in grant development, identifying opportunities and securing grants, including proposal writing.
- Serve as manager of grant services, offering technical assistance and support to MCIU administrators and partners.
- Design, implement, and evaluate competitive grant writing activities across the organization.
- Collaborate with administrators and staff to align grant activities with program goals and comply with policies.
- Supervise grants development and accounting personnel and functions.
- Stay informed of grant resources and best practices at local, state, and national levels.
- Research competitive grants from foundations, grants.gov, and similar sources; communicate opportunities to administrators.
- Collect and organize data for grant applications and requirements; deliver to administrators promptly.
- Ensure terms and conditions of agreements are met and documented, including maintaining a grants database, managing contracts, tracking timelines, deliverables, budgets, restrictions, and matching funds.
- Maintain comprehensive records such as minutes, activity notes, summaries, reports, travel records, and budgets.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence regarding grant status, compliance, and issues.
- Initiate, develop, and maintain internal and external relationships that enhance MCIU programs and services.
- Administer funds to comply with regulations, budget processes, and grant requirements.

Work ScheduleMonday – Friday, 7 hours/day, 12 months (260–262 days/year).
Annual Salary$91,892 – $108,108 per year (Level
6).
