Full-Time Police Officer
The Throop Borough Police Department is currently accepting applications for Full-Time Police Officers. Minimum qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pennsylvania Act 120 Certification
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
Applicants must successfully pass a background investigation and qualify with a department-approved firearm. Any applicant who is offered employment will also be required to successfully complete a medical examination, psychological evaluation, and drug screening as conditions of employment.
