Direct Care Worker – Lifesteps, Inc.
Accessabilities, a local Human Services agency, is hiring compassionate and caring, part‑time staff to assist individuals with in‑home caregiving services in the Creekside, PA area through our Home & Community services program.
In Home Caregivers (also known as Attendants) support participants with household duties and personal care services. Staff assist with laundry, housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and helping with errands. Duties also include transfers from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces.
We offer flexible hours and shifts.
No experience is necessary. Paid training is provided.
Prior experience as a direct care aide or home health aide is helpful.
CaregiverPosition Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance and up to 200 lbs. with assistance (hoyer lift)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
