Student Services - Occupational Therapy Program

Description

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within the LIU, this position supports the educational environment by providing expert assistance to licensed occupational therapists. The primary responsibility is to implement therapeutic interventions, individualized treatment plans, and activities that promote students’ functional independence and participation in the school setting under the direction of the supervising licensed Occupational Therapist in all tasks and job functions.

Qualifications
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance
  • National Board of Certified Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certified and Pennsylvania state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Experience working with school‑aged children is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Must be proactive in problem‑solving
Terms

Full-time, 188 days

Salary

$29.21/hr
