Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Provides hands-on therapeutic and behavioral support to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral health needs in home, school, and community settings. The BC/MT develops individualized treatment plans, delivers evidence-based interventions, and collaborates with families and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes and functional improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and counseling.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Adhere to YAP’s philosophy, mission, and core principles.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with families and service teams.
- Licensed supervision may be available.
Availability to work flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work or related field is required.
- Licensed staff as a Behavior Specialist (LBS), LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT preferred.
- Experience providing therapeutic services to youth and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with participants, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in using data collection tools and software applications.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage and willingness to travel within assigned region.
