As a Residential Services Aide, you will fulfill a vital role in supporting lead personnel and supervisory staff in the administration and oversight of treatment, training, and comprehensive services for the individuals at Selinsgrove Center. Your primary responsibilities involve facilitating progress in critical areas such as self-care, socialization, and health maintenance, ensuring all actions remain strictly aligned with each resident's individualized treatment plan.
Functioning as a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with diverse professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes for those we serve. Furthermore, you will be expected to operate under the direct guidance of qualified developmental disability professionals, maintaining the operational integrity and effectiveness of the facility through diligent adherence to established protocols.
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (1st shift), rotating days off, with a 30-minute lunch. This work schedule includes every 3rd weekend off.

- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $42,521.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) or
- Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
