The Licensed Professional Counselor will provide individual psychotherapy and, as appropriate, group or family sessions to clients seeking support with a range of mental health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and maintaining timely, accurate clinical documentation. The counselor will collaborate with colleagues on case consultation, participate in practice meetings, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive clinical environment.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trooper, PA, requiring regular availability during agreed-upon clinical hours and adherence to ethical and professional standards of care.
- Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, or license-eligible status with a clear plan to obtain LPC licensure.
- Demonstrated competency in providing psychotherapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges using evidence-based approaches.
- Strong skills in building therapeutic relationships, fostering psychological safety, and working with diverse clients in a collaborative, person-centered manner.
- Ability to conduct thorough clinical assessments, formulate treatment plans, and document sessions in accordance with legal, ethical, and practice standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and participate in case consultation.
- Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and integrating feedback and supervision into clinical work.
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
- Experience working in outpatient psychotherapy settings or similar environments; familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practice is highly beneficial.
