Staff Level I Occupational Therapist

Responsible for evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for occupational therapy services. Provides integral healthcare support to help patients achieve highest level of function, coordinating with other health care professionals.

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, treatment interventions, and discharge planning for full patient caseload across acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings as appropriate.
• Participate in student education and teaching as a novice clinician.
• Plan, organize, and deliver treatment programs that facilitate patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Utilize tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and trainings for patients and families.
• Record and document client/patient health progress, including evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Experience:
  
  0‑2 years of clinical practice required; 1 year preferred.
• Valid state license in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid certification from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• CPR certification (American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers, BLS).
