Join Our In-House Rehabilitation Team!

Shippenville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation team. If you are passionate about helping residents maximize their independence while working in a collaborative, resident-centered environment, we would love to hear from you.

Whether you're an experienced clinician or a new graduate eager to begin your career in skilled nursing, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a supportive therapy team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve residents' independence and quality of life.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, upper extremity function, and adaptive techniques.

  • Accurately document treatments, progress, and outcomes using Net Health EMR.

  • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care.

  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.

Qualifications
  • Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.

  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
