Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Qualifications

and Requirements:
  • Education/Licensure: Current state licensure/certification as PT, Speech Pathologist, or OTR certified by NBCOT; current BLS certification.
  • Experience: At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine. IRF/management experience highly preferred
  • Skills: Proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning; knowledge of rehab modalities; pain assessment/management coordination; effective teaching and family engagement; scheduling and productivity management; strong communication, teamwork, and documentation accuracy.

About the position
  • Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness.
  • Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention.
  • Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
