Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for their services. The therapist works in conjunction with other health care professionals to coordinate treatment plans and care, ensuring patients reach their highest level of function.

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and intervention for a full patient caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings as appropriate.
• Plan, organize, and deliver treatment programs that facilitate client recovery and rehabilitation.
• Utilize tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and trainings for patients and families.
• Record and document clients’ health progress, including daily treatments, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology required.
• 0‑2 years of clinical practice required; 1 year preferred.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology required.
• State license required.
• BLS and CPR certification required via AHA.
