Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV);
Rotation shift; 40 weekly hours;
Regular worker;

$15,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible applicants. Performs all types of diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Assesses, treats, and cares for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Operate all ultrasound equipment and perform all types of ultrasound procedures.
- Follow established policies and procedures for scanning.
- Order all supplies needed for ultrasound procedures and maintain adequate linen supply.
- Document equipment malfunctions and call service engineer when needed.
- Schedule patients for ultrasound procedures and organize daily schedule with appropriate instructions.
- Assist in performing quality control on equipment and quality assurance studies.
- Maintain standards and records for all quality control checks on equipment.
- Maintain quality assurance by using comparison studies between ultrasound and other modalities such as angiography or comparisons with surgical results.
- Maintain all required records including quality control, quality assurance results, and service records.
- Perform scans daily.
- Handle imaging exam and procedure tray setup requiring access to non‑controlled medications.
- Work in a clinical environment and comply with all organization policies and procedures.
- Graduate from a specialty training program (required).
- Basic Life Support Certification (default issuing body).
- Certified Radiology Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Registered Vascular Technologist – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
