Behavior Health Technician – Part‑Time – Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry Counties

Pay Rate: Starts at $14.28 and increases with experience.

• Work with children/adolescents who have behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Implement the Individualized Treatment Plan and behavioral plan with an emphasis on transferring skills to the client, family, and team members.
• Utilize research‑based treatment approaches (e.g., ABA, CBT) as identified on the client’s treatment plan.
• Work as a team member with a master's level clinician (e.g., BCBA, Mobile Therapist).

• Applicants providing BHT services must meet one of the following:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent and completed a 40‑hour training covering the RBT task list, evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA (the 40‑hour training can be provided by True North upon hire).
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health services.
• Have a certification as a BCaBA.
• Have a certification as an RBT.
• Have a certification as a BCAT.

• Three clearances required:
  Pennsylvania Child Line Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Check.
• Mandatory reporting training and a sealed college transcript required.
• If applicants do not already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions for how to apply.
