Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
Valley Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our rehabilitation team.
For more than 50 years, Valley Manor has served the local community by providing high-quality post-acute care, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long-term care services. Our interdisciplinary team works together to help each resident achieve the highest possible level of independence and quality of life.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, adaptive techniques, and equipment use
Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences
Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other members of the care team
Ensure services are provided in accordance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations

Current and active Occupational Therapist license in the state
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
Current NBCOT certification
Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred
Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
