Respiratory Therapy - Certified Respiratory Therapist
VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We're looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience providing respiratory care services in an acute care or hospital setting. If you're ready to support patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary needs while traveling the country, this is your opportunity!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting required
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
- Current CRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
- Current, valid, and active driver's license required
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:
- Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist required
- Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from NBRC required
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience administering respiratory treatments and managing oxygen delivery systems
- Ability to perform and monitor ventilator management and non-invasive ventilation
- Knowledge of arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis
- Familiarity with respiratory equipment, protocols, and electronic medical record systems
- Strong attention to accuracy, patient safety, and detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
