Job Summary

CT Technologist I – Night shift (Geisinger Wyoming Valley). This position includes a $25,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates and a $6/hr float premium on top of the base pay. Geisinger may consider qualifiers for a CT Technologist II role.

• Plan and perform all CT procedures and post‑processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols.
• Operate CT scanners, power injectors and computer systems to acquire high‑quality images for radiologist diagnosis.
• Maintain knowledge of CT systems at multiple locations and ensure protocols meet Image Gently Guidelines and dose‑monitoring requirements.
• Prepare, position, and immobilize patients, applying protective shielding when necessary.
• Obtain and interpret CT images according to established protocols.
• Perform CT interventional procedures, including CTA imaging (carotid, head, vertebral, run‑offs, PE), advanced studies such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
• Ensure pharmacology knowledge, including pre‑exam lab results and physiology for quality scans under non‑ideal conditions.
• Apply physics principles to reduce patient dose.
• Interpret technical factors to improve scan quality or speed.

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) – NMTCB.
• Radiography (R) certification – ARRT.

Competitive base pay, $6/hr float premium, $25,000 sign‑on bonus. Full‑time and part‑time positions include vision, dental, and benefits for domestic partners from day one. Additional benefits may be available.
