The Supervisor Production Floor assists the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist Supervisors in the Select Rx division. This position staffs to ensure operational measures are obtained and helps support the management of the pharmacy staff internally and externally.

• This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Support and supervises departmental personnel including:
  Orientation Training Monitoring
• Determining workload Delegating assignments and Scheduling
• Evaluating performance (on an annual basis or as needed) with Pharmacy manager
• Supports corrective and disciplinary actions
• Support quality improvement by:
• Assisting manager/assistant manager in delivering and maintaining associate Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and/or corrective actions
• Assisting manager/assistant manager in improving processes in production
• Implements and adheres to all Select Rx policies and procedures
• Participates and assists in the screening interviewing and evaluation of associate candidates while also making recommendations to hire promote or discipline current associates while coordinating and implementing teamwork
• Operates within the professional standards in compliance with Federal State Local and Business regulation while enforcing the laws regarding the practice of pharmacy
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager
• Ensure that all cold medications are properly stored at the end of the day
• Notify the pharmacy manager and assistant manager if there are any major issues or concerns that necessitate storing medications outside of their normal locations on the production floor

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
• 2+ years’ experience working in clinical manufacturing preferred
• 3+ years leading fast paced metric driven teams
• Familiarity with Six Sigma principles
• Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt preferred

• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred (PTCB or NHA)
• Associates assigned to the Monaca PA Facility:
  Pennsylvania State Pharmacy Technician license or active Technician Trainee license required (or willing to obtain before start date)

This position involves work in a production or warehouse environment and requires regular presence on the production floor.
