, the Personal Care Assistant (PCA) plays an important supportive role in enhancing residents' comfort, safety, and quality of life while assisting the licensed care team.
- Assist licensed and certified staff in providing quality resident care and support.
- Make beds and maintain tidy, organized resident rooms.
- Ensure call bells, bed controls, and essential items are within the resident's reach.
- Assist with serving drinks, snacks, and meals in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Provide companionship and socialization to support emotional well-being and engagement.
- Answer phones and assist nursing staff with communication needs as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident care areas as assigned.
- Support residents with comfort-focused tasks to enhance their daily living experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CNA certification/license in the state of Pennsylvania required.
