In this fast-paced role, you would provide emergent care in a pre-hospital setting, maintaining treatment standards and protocols. - Newtown Square, Devon, Concordville, Broomall, KOP, Collegeville, Exton, Bryn Mawr Hospital

Shift:

Day shift, weekend requirement based on department needs

Experience:
  • Minimum of two years of pre-hospital basic life support experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medications carried for use by the EMT-Paramedic in the treatment and management of neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients consistent with level of training and certification.
  • Knowledge of basic and advanced life support and resuscitation procedures for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients consistent with level of training and certification.
  • Knowledge, ability, and skills necessary to appropriately assess and manage care.
  • Knowledge, ability, and skills necessary to appropriately operate basic equipment and assist with the operation of advanced equipment.
  • Education:
  • High school graduate.
  • 2.. Satisfactory completion of practical and written examinations administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
  • Licensures/

    Certifications:
  • Current Pennsylvania certification as an EMT or NREMT.
  • Current driver’s license valid in Pennsylvania with a copy on file.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Hazmat Awareness, and EMSVO all are required.
  • Other certifications are encouraged, such as: NREMT, PHTLS, BTLS, Fire I or equivalent.
