Geisinger - - Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care within the nursing assistant scope of practice and as part of the multidisciplinary care plan;
Perform clerical duties related to admissions, transfers, discharges, and tests to facilitate patient throughput;
Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition to licensed personnel;
Coordinate transportation of patients and specimens to appropriate departments and tests;
Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new staff and students when appropriate
