Job Overview

* This is a tipped position
* The Tasting Room Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house operations by tending the wine bar or making cocktails for customers. We are looking for friendly and informative staff who can create a warm and welcoming environment for customers who are often curious about how the products are made and the history of the business. Associates will be working behind the bar, at on and off premise events, and festivals.

Must have valid drivers license and the ability to pickup and move a case of wine at roughly 30 pounds. Must be able to work weekends and festivals.

Duties
  • Assist in drink and food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front and backroom, including storage areas, prep stations, and equipment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation are met.
  • Support catering and banquet services by preparing items as needed for events.
  • Collaborate with bartending staff to prepare garnishes and other necessary items for beverage service.
  • Help manage inventory levels by tracking supplies and reporting shortages to management.
  • Participate in training sessions related to food and drink handling, safety protocols, and hospitality best practices.
Skills
  • Strong background in hospitality, with experience in bartending food preparation or catering preferred.
  • Knowledge of bar tending and food handling techniques and food safety regulations.
  • Experience in bartending or fine dining service is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality service.
