Banquet Server

JOB TITLE

Banquet Server Part‑Time

Responsible for setting up, working and breaking down functions outside of the dining room.

The Banquet manager and the supervisor in charge of running the function.

• Setting up tables with proper silverware, glassware, etc.
• Serving and bussing tables, replenishing any buffets.
• Setting up coffee service.
• Breaking down all functions and stations.

Customer service experience, preferably from hotel or events.

Gathering all supplies for private stations, banquets, while also working the events and ensuring all guests’ needs are satisfied. Also, maintaining the banquet kitchen, organizing supplies and daily cleaning of banquet rooms and kitchen.

Must be able to carry a service tray weighing from one (1) to fifty (50) lbs. for long distances. Job requires being able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.

• MUST HAVE
  : A valid PA driver’s license is a requirement to drive any vehicle.
• SKILLS REQUIRED
  :
  Must have the ability to work well with others and possess strong people skills. Prefer someone with at least one year of banquet experience.
• EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  :
  Must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
